Retail environments require extremely fast interaction flows. Cashiers must complete transactions within seconds while avoiding pricing or payment errors. The design process focused on understanding checkout workflows, product lookup behavior, and how employees interact with POS systems during busy store hours.
Traditional POS interfaces often contain too many steps and small interaction targets, slowing down checkout and increasing the risk of mistakes. The goal was to design a simplified mobile interface that prioritizes product visibility, quick quantity adjustments, and clear payment confirmation.
The application is designed for retail environments where different roles interact with the system in distinct ways during the sales process.
