The project began by understanding how people currently book therapy sessions and what prevents them from doing it quickly on mobile. Research focused on how users discover therapists, how much information they need before booking, and which steps slow down the process. Insights showed that users prefer a simple flow that lets them find a therapist and reserve a session with minimal friction.
The client already had a web platform for booking therapy sessions, but user behavior showed a strong preference for mobile experiences. Booking through a browser felt slower and less intuitive for users seeking quick access to therapists. The challenge was to create a mobile flow that makes discovering therapists and scheduling sessions simple and frictionless.
Design decisions were guided by the need to simplify therapy booking while supporting both clients and therapists within the same platform.

Psihopomp functions as a two-sided product connecting people seeking therapy with licensed therapists managing their sessions. The client application focuses on discovering therapists and scheduling appointments, while the therapist application supports availability management and session coordination. Both experiences were designed to stay synchronized while keeping the system simple and easy to use.
To validate the booking flow, a usability test was conducted through a Maze prototype with 10 participants. The results showed an 89% task completion rate for the booking process, while the average time needed to complete a booking was 2 minutes and 37 seconds. Early testing also revealed a recurring misclick pattern within the calendar, which was later reduced after a visual adjustment was introduced. In addition, behavior tracking showed stronger mobile engagement and a smoother transition from therapist profile view to booking confirmation, indicating reduced friction across the flow.
