The design process was based on close collaboration with the client and continuous feedback from real usage scenarios. Early prototypes were regularly tested by nutritionists, allowing the product to evolve alongside their daily workflow. Due to limited access to competitor dashboards, the solution relied heavily on domain knowledge and iterative validation.
Nutritionists operate in short consultation windows, often needing to review large amounts of patient data in just a few minutes. The existing system was fragmented, unclear, and inefficient, making it difficult to quickly understand patient history, progress, and recommendations. The challenge was to structure a highly complex system into a clear and usable interface.
Balancing complexity and clarity in a data-heavy medical workflow.
Data Overload
Large amounts of patient data must be quickly understood.
1
Time Pressure
Nutritionists have limited time per patient.
2
Evolving System
Requirements changed throughout the design process.

The system is designed for practices with multiple offices, where some are dedicated to patient intake and equipped with a SECA scale. The first screen gives a quick overview of arrivals and patient details, while the second shows what is scheduled, when, and in which office for a clearer daily workflow.
This flow supports nutritionists through a structured step-by-step process—from body measurements and lab findings to patient-specific conditions, recommendations, and meal plan creation, making complex consultations easier to organize, personalize, and turn into clear nutritional guidance.
