ARCHIVED PROJECT
Understanding the context began with examining how the collective publishes poetry and how audiences discover performances. Most content lived across fragmented Instagram posts, making it difficult to read poems in full or follow upcoming events.
Poetry and event information were scattered across Instagram posts, making it difficult for audiences to access the collective’s work in a meaningful way. Poems were often shortened or hidden within visual posts, while details about performances appeared inconsistently and were quickly lost in the feed.

The user journey exposed key gaps in content discovery, readability, and re-engagement, emphasizing the need for a more structured, accessible, and cohesive digital experience.
Hotjar data suggested that visitors were highly engaged with the browsing experience: average session duration reached 5:51, users viewed 13 pages per session on average, and bounce rate remained low at 15.4%. Click patterns showed that people mainly interacted with navigation and content-entry points, indicating that discoverability and category-based exploration were central to how users used the site. Since most traffic came from new and mobile users, the experience needed to support fast orientation and easy movement across sections.
